BIG 5 GAME DRIVES
At Buffalo Rock Camp life revolves around the wildlife and your daily game drives will be the highlight of your holiday. Echo Africa offers morning, afternoon or full-day game drives both in the private Nkambeni traversing area and inside the un-fenced boundaries of the Kruger National Park.
You can also opt to join a late afternoon game drive, enjoy sundowners in the wilderness and then experience an exciting Night Drive with floodlights, giving you the opportunity to see nocturnal animals and predators on the move.

EXPERIENCE
GUIDED BUSH WALKS
Take a walk on the wild side as you join a thrilling guided bush walk in Big Five territory. This is a wonderful way of getting up close to many of the smaller creatures, plants and birds that we often overlook on a game drive.
If you are up for a great adventure you can join one of our excellent (armed) guides on foot in the concession. This is a great opportunity to do some bird watching and photography and identify many endemic plant species.

SCENIC TOURS
WE OFFER A WIDE VARIETY OF INTERESTING TOURS
Besides enjoying game drives and bush walks you can also join a variety of other interesting and scenic tours offered by Echo Africa. These are just a few of the most popular tours on offer:
Blyde Dam Boat Ride – travel by boat deep into the heart of the fabulous Blyde River Canyon to enjoy the superlative scenery and get close to hippo, crocodiles and fantastic birdlife, including the African Fish Eagle
- Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center – here you can get up close to a variety of rescued and abandoned wildlife which are rehabilitated here before being released back into nature
- Hoedspruit Endangered Species Breeding Center – the center was established to breed endangered cheetah and now conducts a breeding program for other endangered species of African wildlife.
- Swaziland Day Tour – take a break from the wildlife and come and enjoy seeing the amazing crafts produced at the Ngwenya Glass Center and at Swazi Candles where candle making is elevated to an art-form by local Swazi women.
- Panorama Route – a scenic tour of the Panorama Route will take you to several stunning view sites and waterfalls within the Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest canyon in the world. If time allows you will also visit Pilgrim’s Rest (an old gold-rush mining town).

ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES CLOSE TO BUFFALO ROCK
Some visitors come to Buffalo Rock Camp to re-connect with nature and the wildlife. Others have a far more active holiday in mind. If you fancy trying your hand at a few other activities Echo Africa can arrange visits to any or all of the following:
